How Does AHI Use My Personal Information?
In most cases AHI uses your personal information for the purpose of reporting completed course to your state's licensing department. Most state require either social security number, license number, or some other type of identification number. Some states require all of the these or some combination. AHI DOES NOT store credit card information.

What Personal Information Does AHI Really Need About Me?
For the purpose of creating certificates of completion and reporting your CE credit hours to the appropriate state licensing department, AHICE must have your full name, address, phone number and license number (where applicable). Many states also require the use of student's social security number for the reporting of records.
Although a credit card is required for online purchases, AHI DOES NOT store, record, or retain credit card numbers.

Is My Personal Information Safe?
Yes. Anytime you send or receive personal or credit card information to AHICE.com you will see a lock at the bottom of your web browser indicating you are viewing a secure page. In addition, all data stored on AHI computers is secured. We take extensive measures to insure our systems and data tightly secured and closely monitored.

NO!
Under no circumstances does AHI share or sell ANY of your personal information. This includes your name, address, phone numbers or email address. Unlike most other companies, AHI does not look at your personal information as an income possibility. We DO NOT nor have we EVER sold personal information to marketing companies, data farms, recruiters, or any other type of company.

Does AHI Keep A Record Of Courses I've Taken In The Past?
If you have taken courses with AHI in the past, we do maintain records of those courses. In order to avoid any state course repetition violations, it is a good idea to contact us for a list of courses you have taken in the past.

You may or may not repeat courses you have taken in the past. Each state has it's own course repetition regulations. Please click state info for your state's specific repetition regulations.

What Is The Difference Between Package Price and Price Before Discount?
The price before discount is the individual price of that specific course if that course were to be ordered alone.
The package price a discounted price offered to those who order multiple courses at the same time and for a single person.

What Is A State Filing Fee? Do I Have To Pay One?
A State Filing Fee is a charge that some states may charge students for filing continuing education credits, processing, and other fees. If your state requires a filing fee it will be added to your total invoice amount at the time of check out.

Does AHI Charge Additional Fees For Exam Grading, Processing, Certificates or State Reporting?
NO.
We do not charge any additional fees for the above services. Unlike many other education companies, the grading of your exams, the processing of your exams, your certificate and any state reporting are ALL included in the price of the course.

Can I Print The Study Materials?
Yes, you can print the study materials. Once you have downloaded the course the study book will open on your screen. Simply the printer icon located in the tool bar at the top of the page or, click file at the top left of the page then click print.

Do I Need To Review My Entire Online Course At Once?
No. You can save the course to a file on your computer, you can print the course study book, or you can down load it again at a later time. You may access your courses as many times as you like/need as often as you like.

How Long Does It Take To Receive My Paper Based Courses?
Paper based courses are shipped the same day the order is received. (M-F) Delivery time depends on the method of delivery you have chosen. Most orders, ordered by standard U.S. mail, are received in 3-5 business days. Again, delivery time depends on the method of delivery you have chosen.

Are My Tests Shipped Along With My Paper Based Courses?
Yes, the package that us sent to you will contain your study material, the exam, and any proctor directions/forms (as required by your state).

Do I Need To Return The Books?
No. Those books belong to you. Unlike most other education companies, AHI does not charge their students additional fees for book rentals, or require books to be returned. Feel free to keep the course books for future reference or pass them along to a friend or colleague.

What Is Considered To Be A Passing Score?
Most Continuing Education courses require a final exam score of 70% to pass. Most Pre-licensing courses require a 75% to pass.

Yes, exams have a 1 hour maximum time limit.

Most tests will have between 25-50 questions depending on your state's regulations.

What Happens If I Don't Pass An Exam?
If you do not pass an online exam, the system will automatically give you the opportunity to retest online. If you do not pass a paper exam we will contact you and make arrangements for you to receive another test.

Does My State Require A Monitor/Proctor Sit With Me While I Take My Exam?
If you state requires a Monitor/Proctor details will be listed at the top of the web page that displays the available courses for your state and license type. Monitor/Proctor requirements vary by state.

Proctor requirements vary by state. If your state does require your exams to be administered by a Monitor/Proctor please click the Proctor Information button for specific details.

We will need only basic contact information from your Monitor/Proctor. Name, Address, Telephone Number and Email Address. As with your personal information; AHI WILL NOT share, market or sell this information with any other company.

No, exams can not be printed. Exams must be completed online.

No. You must see an exam the entire way through. There is no way to save partially completed tests.

What Happens If My Internet Connections Is Disrupted?
Unfortunately, if your internet connection is disrupted or lost, a tests that is not ENTIRELY completed (processed and graded) will be lost as well. You will have to re-take the tests.

Exams are normally graded and processed within 24hrs. of being received Monday-Friday.

How Long Does It Take To Get My certificate Of Completion
Certificates of Completion are normally Emailed to students immediately following the grading and processing of the exams.

Please Note: In states where Emailed Certificates of Completion are not permitted,
certificates will be mailed to students the business day following the grading and processing of the exams.

If I Loose My Certificate Of Completion How Can I Obtain A Replacement?
You can obtain a duplicate certificate of completion by calling 847/455-5311. There is a $10.00 charge for the replacement.

Does AHI Report My Records To My State?
Some states require us to report completed continuing education records. Other states do not. In states that do require us to report completed counting education we do so daily, in most cases. Call for information about your specific state. Course and test completions are timestamped based on Central Standard Time.
