Nebraska Continuing Education Requirements
- 24hrs biennially (including 3hrs of Ethics)
- 6hrs biennially (including 3hrs of Ethics) - Crop Only Producers

Flood Insurance Requirements
- Producers who sell flood insurance under the NFIP must complete a one-time 3hr credit course related to the NFIP
Long Term Care Partnership Requirements:
- Initial 8-hr training program.
4-hour course every 24 months after initial training.

- Every 2 years on the last day of the producer’s birth month in odd- or even-numbered years.
Producers born in an even-numbered year must complete their CE in even-numbered years.

Courses may not be repeated within a 2 year period.
- Exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third party.
A disinterested third party is an individual with no family or financial relationship to the student.
- Individuals who hold a limited-lines license for credit life/credit accident and health, auto mechanical breakdown, prepaid legal, motor club, prepaid dental, health maintenance organization, or unemployment credit insurance
- Nonresidents who are in good standing with his or her home state
- Your certificate of completion will be mailed to you once you have completed your exam.
- The course provider reports credits earned to the insurance department or its designated agency.
